People in the History Department
Our department is comprised of eleven full-time and continuing faculty members, three-fixed term Research Assistant Professors, and one Fellow from School of Humanities Society of Scholars. Our academics bring a wealth of diversity and experience to the research and teaching culture of the university. We also have a number of visiting and honorary appointments that add to the intellectual environment of our department. Each of them is introduced in the staff page.
The Chairperson of Department for 2012-13 is Dr. Charles Schencking. The Undergraduate Co-ordinator and Chief Examiner is Professor Xu Guoqi . The Postgraduate Co-ordinator is Professor John Carroll.
