History Alumni Homecoming Event

On April 29, 2026, the Department of History at The University of Hong Kong hosted our History Homecoming Reception as part of an initiative to build an interconnected community of history graduates in Hong Kong and abroad.

Held in the Faculty Lounge at Run Run Shaw Tower on HKU’s Centennial Campus, the evening brought together alumni across generations alongside current faculty and department members. The free reception offered graduates a chance to catch up with old friends, network with peers, and reconnect with the department in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

As the first of many planned alumni gatherings, this reception set the foundation for a stronger, ongoing network among HKU history graduates worldwide. The department extends its gratitude to everyone who attended and helped make the launch a success.
